Eco chic: new life into rejected clothes

Categories:  Fashion & Beauty

Following its success at asos.com, award-winning sustainable label Goodone has designed a capsule autumn/winter collection that has been bought in its entirety by Topshop. The UK fashion industry produces 2m tonnes of clothing waste per year, with just 16% recovered and the rest destined for landfill. Goodone creative director Nin Castle uses reclaimed fabrics to create her eye-catching upcycled signature bodycon silhouette, sparking new life into rejected clothes. And this month Goodone will also release a lower-cost fashion collection for the Tesco website, made from the supermarket’s own waste textiles. Ethical clothing has never looked so good
